Responsibilities:
This position is for a dual role that includes travel and laboratory-related work.
Industry experience helpful.
This position requires attention to detail and professionalism with clients.
Full time or part time options available.
1.
The sampling technician/transport agent responsibilities include traveling to grower/processors sites, collecting cannabis samples using aseptic technique and documenting appropriate information on chain of custodies and manifests to transfer the samples securely back to the laboratory.
2.
The laboratory technician responsibilities include general duties throughout the lab including but not limited to sample preparation, receiving supplies and assisting chemists.
Company vehicle will be provided for transportation of samples.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, must:
Have a valid driver's license Have a clean driving record Be at least 21 years old POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, preferred:
Driving experience Customer service experience Laboratory experience ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with state medical marijuana regulations Sample collection from customer site Interface professionally with client and effectively relay information back to laboratory staff Securely transport samples from client site to laboratory Complete chain of custody and manifest paperwork using GDP Responsible for accurate weighing and recording all product weights Assists with sample prep as needed Assists chemists with laboratory work as needed Works in a timely manner and strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned Job Types:
