Warehouse Inventory Specialist
Bethlehem, PA Bethlehem, PA Full-time Contract Full-time Contract $25 an hour $25 an hour 16 hours ago 16 hours ago 16 hours ago Pomeroy is seeking an Asset Inventory Coordinator to work onsite/hybrid in Bethlehem PA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in tracking and ordering inventory, have high regard for customer service.
This is a short-term contract to cover medical leave, contract could run up to 6 months.
DAY TO DAY
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ordering of IT inventory from various vendors.
This includes PCs, servers, peripherals.
Management of vendor relationships to ensure best pricing and delivery for equipment ordered.
Responsible for the review and processing of on-line requisitions including verifying all required documentation required is provided.
Follow up with end users when additional information is required to fill request.
Responsible for accurately maintaining/updating the Asset Inventory database for all USA locations.
This includes serial numbers, cost centers, username, location, leasing information, computer name, operating system, etc.
Create ad-hoc reports out of the asset inventory database when needed.
Ensure leased assets are returned to leasing company on time by follow up with various contacts / remote end users for status of past due lease swaps.
For items shipped directly to end users:
contact users to confirm all requested items have been received (in good working order) and verify serial numbers when appropriate.
Incidents and asset tracking tool should be updated as required.
Qualifications:

years of direct warehouse and/or asset/inventory management experience Must have an understanding of IT hardware and technical terms or be willing to learn Must have experience working with a ticketing tracking system (Remedy, ServiceNow,) Work experience in asset & vendor management Working knowledge of basic PC hardware, software, and accessories.
Understanding of basic Procurement processes and procedures Strong communication and presentation skills Self-motivated, detail and goal oriented, and an innovative thinker 3-6 month contract, covering an employees medical leave Job Types:
