Recruiting Assistant - Disability Services

Via of the Lehigh Valley is hiring a Recruiting Assistant to join our team! This position will provide administrative support to the human resources department.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Pre-screen employment applications/resumes.
Coordinate and schedule first and second level interviews with the Human Resources Specialist and hiring departments.
Assist with administering job posting program which includes receiving staff requisitions, posting internal and external open positions.
Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.
Conduct reference and background checks for candidates being considered for an offer of employment.
Assist with the new hire onboarding process in the HRIS system.
Conduct pre-employment meetings and process clearances prior to new hire date.
Assist with community outreach to enhance recruitment efforts.
Manage employee changes and updates in our HRIS system (Paylocity).
Complete employee verifications.
Manage employee raffles.
Assist with community outreach to enhance recruitment efforts.
Collaborate with the Human Resources Director and the Human Resources Specialist for employee retention and recognition monthly events.
Position Requirements Include:
Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Management, Human Resources Certification OR High School Diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of Human Resources experience is required.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Must possess excellent writing and communication skills.
Must be self-motivated and work independently.
HRIS experience preferably in Paylocity.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
