During the 10-week program, the Operations Intern will gain working knowledge of the industry and different faucets of our business including day to day operations, customer service, automation, and safety at one of our warehouse sites.
What you'll do on a typical day:
Engage and communicate effectively with other professionals throughout the organization Use strategic thinking to approach problems and create solutions Develop and implement project plans; determine requirements, deliverables, resources, timing/milestones, and risks Communicate findings and project status clearly and professionally through emails, meetings, and presentations Make recommendations to upper management Provide comprehensive reports to business leaders on assignments and other related projects Gain a strong understanding of industry trends and functional area initiatives Collaborate with fellow interns to complete a company-wide group project What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Currently enrolled as a rising college junior, senior or graduate student Experience with Microsoft Office It'd be great if you also have:
Education toward a degree in a relevant major such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering or Business Management Demonstrated analytical skills with a strong attention to detail Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment, excellent interpersonal skills Energetic and self-motivating work style, with a strong drive to succeed Solid ability to organize, multitask and prioritize Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bilingual Availability to travel occasionally We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
