They assist the immediate supervisor with administrative tasks to support office operations as assigned and supports the team in the absence of the Branch Manager.Essential Duties:
Maintains expert knowledge of Bank's retail products and services. Maintains business/commercial product and service knowledge. Counsels and advises customers effectively. Looks at the whole customer relationship for opportunities to enhance and grow. Responsible for Retail Loans, application to closing. Open new deposit accounts in a timely manner while broadening customer's needs, present or future. Understands transactional activities and is required to perform those activities when needed. Responsible for branch operations, meeting branch operational goals, and assisting with sales goals. Demonstrates knowledge in practice of procedures, policies and compliance. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. Resolves customer problems with what is best for customer and Bank. In addition to, or in the absence of, the Branch Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including, but not limited to, addressing customer issues and staff issues. Exercises officer responsibilities of the branch including, but not limited to, processing daily overdrafts, signing authority, system overrides, and staffing needs. Coaches and develops staff in operations, procedures, policies and compliance and provides oversight for the same. Aptly and confidently demonstrates and educates our customer base on our technology products and services. Provides professional service to our customers or prospective customers, in person, via phone, online chat or virtually (video). Assists customers with product selections for accounts and financial services throughout the Bank including Wealth Management, Cash Management Services, and Merchant Services cross-selling. Education/Training:
A high school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree or General Banking Diploma preferred. Training in customer service and sales needed.Skill(s):
Must demonstrate strong communication skills; excellent interpersonal relations skills; proficient PC skills; a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts; a proficient knowledge of the banking systems, transaction documents, knowledge of vault transactions and balancing; a working knowledge of bank consumer and business products and services; proficient Microsoft Office skills; possess problem solving skills.
Experience:
A minimum of 4 or more years' experience in a related position normally required.Physical Requirements:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
