We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage key projects, with a focus on the construction of cleanrooms, chillers, and other mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from initial planning to final commissioning. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Utilize Procore project management software for project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
3. Oversee the design and construction of cleanrooms, chillers, and other mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
4. Coordinate and supervise the work of project team members, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring clear and effective communication at all stages of the project.
6. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure safety regulations are adhered to and quality standards are met.
7. Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
8. Oversee the commissioning process, coordinating with engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure systems are functioning correctly and safely.
9. Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with specific experience in the construction of cleanrooms, chillers, and other mechanical systems.
2. Proven expertise in using Procore or equivalent project management software.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage project risks and issues effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are advantageous.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
10. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
