This person must be able to look up parts.
A parts sales support person must process orders for customers with accuracy, efficiency, and courtesy.
They will be required to assist and advise customers in determining how to best meet their needs, often dealing with questions and problems of a highly technical nature.
It is essential, therefore, that he or she have good business judgment, a thorough understanding of automotive systems, and excellent selling skills.
This person will have direct contact with customers and, therefore, neatness in personal appearance is important.
The ability to establish and maintain good relations with fellow employees and customers in a professional manner is a must as well.
Responsibilities:
(including but not limited to) Customer Service Sales Support Phone Technical Assistance and Parts Sales and Accessories Online Technical Support and Sales Customer Service Sales Quotes Non-Aerial Sales Product Development Sales and Price Marketing for both Customer and Vendor Oversee all shipping and receiving of parts Parts and Sales Data Entering Prepare sales quotes and sales orders for parts sales Maintain Inventory control, pricing, stock levels Control receipt of goods, parts transfers Prepare and pull parts for outbound parts sales Verify and forward all order acknowledgments placed through Time Mfg.
and other vendors when sold through Parts Department Vendor Purchasing Work with vendors for best price discount, product availability and approved terms Forward all order acknowledgements received to the other appropriate departments Job Type:
