00 We are excited to offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Dental Assistant in our Bethlehem, PA location to join our team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible.
You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care.
The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

00pm What You Will Do:
Ensures consent, notes, and patient records are accurately maintained Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients based on specific patient needs and according to dentist?s orders Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards.
This includes:
scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer Delivers instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access Performs suctioning and passing of instruments using four-handed dentistry Prepares treatment rooms in accordance to company procedures and protocols Provide diagnostic information by taking all radiographs and quantity of radiographs deemed medically necessary by the clinical judgement of the treating dentist Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; notifying when there is a need for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques Maintains appropriate certifications and/or licensures.
Adheres to infection control standards according to OSHA and other guidelines What You Will Need:
At least one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant OR completion of a Dental Assisting program Radiology Certification - REQUIRED CPR Certification Demonstrated desire to work with children in a pediatric setting What We Offer You:
