: Nurse Supervisor - Bethlehem Care on Demand (COD)
CH is looking for a qualified Nurse Supervisor to support operations in our Bethlehem Care on Demand facility. Our COD facilities are walk-in centers where we provide patients and employers with a variety of services to help manage minor medical illnesses and injuries. From simple problems such as ankle sprains, ear infections, bronchitis, and the flu, to more complicated problems like fractures and lacerations, individuals get quality care, faster. We also provide employer services such as pre-employment drug screening, physical exams, immunizations and post-accident evaluations.
Reports to: Clinic

Direct Reports: In absence of the Clinic Manager, the Nurse Supervisor oversees non-physician clinical and clerical staff.
Key Activities for a Nurse Supervisor
A Nurse Supervisor will assist with the day to day operations within the COD clinic. The Nurse Supervisor works with the Clinic Manager to ensure a high level of productivity as well as outstanding service and quality care to patients. Primary areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
PATIENT SATISFACTION
o Assist and work with both the clinical and clerical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
o Facilitate the patient's flow thru the process to ensure a positive patient experience
o Ensure all patients are treated with respect, dignity, compassion and address any concerns
o Ensure all processes are followed as per written standard work.
o Ensure compliance is maintained within the COD location including but not limited to logbooks, proficiency testing, expired items, organization, cleanliness, etc.
CLINIC PROFITABILITY
o Ensure the receipt and reconciliation of daily payments and charges
o Ensure the registration process is accurate and that the required information for proper claims processing is received in a timely manner
o Monitor billing reports, slippage reports, and all encounters to ensure charges are properly recorded and corrective action is taken where needed
o Address any discrepancies/errors in the office portion of the Revenue Cycle process
o Provide guidelines and information regarding patient's insurance to both clerical & clinical staff when necessary
COMMUNITY/EMPLOYER RELATIONS
o Maintain knowledge of local employers and their needs for pre-employment services, work comp injuries, wellness, walk-in care, and primary care
o Coordinate visits with employers as needed (both at CH and onsite at the employer)
o Assist with the development and execution of health fairs for community and employer partners
o Assist employer services team with business development by helping to identifying areas of opportunity
HUMAN RESOURCES FUNCTIONS
o Provide necessary education and support to staff to perform job functions
o Effectively communicate expected

o Effectively manage staff to ensure patient needs are being met
o Monitor staff performance
o Effectively manage staff schedules to minimize overtime
o Ensure staff members at COD are trained and proficient in all required tasks
The Next Step to Becoming the Nurse Supervisor at our Bethlehem Care on Demand Clinic:
Experience, Knowledge, and Education Requirements
o Registered Nurse (RN) license required
o Minimum of 3 years management/leadership in the healthcare field, preferably in an administrative or support role
o Background in urgent care/walk-in clinic environments preferred
o Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally interact with others
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Ability to effectively navigate
computer
systems including, but not limited to, practice management systems, electronic health records and payroll software
o Must be accessible outside of traditional working hours
