to be around people & help people in whatever I can
My name is Greg
M. Makarchuk. I was laid off from Weber Funeral Homes in Allentown, PA due to
economics which had nothing to do with my performance. Since working at Webers,
I have not found a career that is fulfilling. Funeral Services is where I belong;
I worked hard to be a Funeral Director which happens to be my second career. It
took me many years to find that I have a passion for this career. I have
aspired to be a funeral director because I enjoy and get satisfaction from
helping people. My abilities and my talents to care for others go a long way to
help others in need. When I cared for a family, I put them before my own needs;
I have come in on my day off to perform their funeral because I did not want my
family to have a funeral director whom they did not know. In essence, I pride
myself in displaying a strong personal commitment, I have been requested a
second time to serve the needs of the same family. The surveys that were sent
out from Weber Funeral Home to families that I have served in the past came
back with good ratings on my performance. Also, I have received many thank you
notes from clients thanking me for helping them and showing that I truly care
about them and their loved one.
In addition to
the pride I take in my job, I have a strong sense of purpose & commitment
to the profession and my employer. During my employment, which has been
consistent, I have been dependable and accurate in carrying out my
responsibilities with a high degree of pride, honesty, loyalty and integrity. I
pay attention to details, have regular attendance and display warmth and
sincerity. I would like to work with you at your funeral home because you are
established locations and serve your clients in a professional way. I look
forward to speaking to you personally and the opportunity for an interview.
Please feel welcome to contact me at your earliest convenience.
